Why a custom plan lasts longer
One-size plans tend to break in the third week. A plan built around your own schedule survives busy weeks, because you set the shape of it rather than inheriting one.
- Choose the scope: one book, a testament or the whole Bible.
- Choose the period: 7, 30, 90 or 365 days.
- Choose the pace: chapters per day or days per week.
Four decisions to start
You do not need a system. Four choices are enough to begin.
- Scope: for example Proverbs, the Gospel of John or the New Testament.
- Period: a length you can keep even in a busy month.
- Rest days: leave one day a week unplanned, so a missed day is not a failure.
- Anchor: attach the plan to an existing habit, such as morning coffee.
Tracking and adjusting
Progress is stored on the device, so the tracker works offline. When life changes, edit the plan instead of abandoning it.
- Mark readings complete as you finish them.
- Shift dates when a week goes sideways.
- Shorten the period to catch up, or extend it after a hard month.
- Keep notes attached to the verses you read.
Three plans to copy
Starting points you can recreate in a few taps.
- 30 days in Proverbs: one chapter a day.
- 90 days in the New Testament: about three chapters a day.
- 365 days through the Bible: roughly three to four chapters a day, with rest days.
